• Social media data: if you choose to link a social account, we collect the profile information that platform shares with us and store the access tokens needed to keep the connection working. Linking is optional. The exact fields collected for each platform are listed in our Social Media Linking Terms.
• Device information: when you sign in from the mobile app we record a device identifier, device name, manufacturer, model, operating system and version, and app version. This is used to show you your active devices and to let you revoke access to one you no longer use.
• IP address and approximate location: we record the IP address used to sign in and derive an approximate city and country from it, so we can tell you where your account has been accessed from and flag sign-ins you do not recognise. We do not collect GPS or precise device location.
• Security and account activity: sign-in attempts, including failed ones, so we can rate-limit and block brute-force attacks.
• Verification and endorsements: the endorsements you give and receive from other SCN holders, which determine your verification level and are shown on your profile.
• Payment information: subscriptions are processed by our payment providers. We receive a record that a payment succeeded and the identifiers needed to manage your subscription. We never receive or store your full card number.

What we do not collect
We run no analytics, tracking, or advertising scripts, and we do not build advertising profiles of you. See our Cookie Policy for the cookies we do set.
